SwineSwine Feedlot Application Requires that facilities operating as a feedlot be licensed by the
department. A feedlot is defined as a livestock feedlot, or feed yard
having more than 1,000 head of livestock at one time during the license
year or any other livestock feedlot whose operator elects to come under
the act. This definition includes lots or pens which are not used
normally for raising crops and in which no vegetation, intended for

Swine PIN TagsTo order swine Premises Identification Number (PIN) tags, first
establish if your farm already has an existing PIN assigned to it by
calling the KDA office at (785) 564-6601. If you do not have an existing
PIN, use the
Kansas PIN Registration Form to provide KDA with the information they will need to create a new PIN for your premises. To order PIN tags, visit the
