*Do Not Engage Pesticide Business Activity Until License Is Issued*

The use of pesticides is regulated under the Kansas Pesticide Law.

"Pesticide" is any substance or mixture of substances used to prevent, destroy, control, repel, attract or mitigate any pest; or any substance or mixture of substances intended to be used as a plant regulator, defoliant or desiccant. This includes herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, rodenticides, etc.

The Kansas Pesticide Law requires any business to become licensed to advertise, offer for sale, sell or perform any service for the control of a pest on the property of another or apply a pesticide to the property of another within this state; or to perform any service for the control of a pest or apply any pesticide on or at the premises of another person under any commission, division of receipts or subcontracting arrangement with a licensed pesticide business.
