The 59th Annual Meeting of the Kansas–Oklahoma Arkansas River Commission (KOARC) will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 9:00 AM CDT. The meeting will be held at the Port Muskogee Office located at 5201 Three Forks Rd, Fort Gibson, OK 74434. The meeting is open to the public. Anyone interested in water-related activities within the lower Arkansas River basin in Kansas and Oklahoma is encouraged to attend. Additional details are available in the official meeting announcement and draft meeting agenda linked below.

Kansas and Oklahoma entered the Arkansas River Compact in 1965 to promote interstate comity, to equitably divide and promote the orderly development of the waters of the lower Arkansas River basin, to provide an agency for administering the waters of the basin and to encourage an active pollution abatement program in each state.
