The 62nd Annual Meeting of the Kansas-Oklahoma Arkansas River Commission (KOARC) will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM CDT in Room 180 of the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex, located at 5015 E 29th Street N, Wichita, KS 67220. The meeting is open to the public. All those interested in water-related activities within the lower Arkansas River basin in Kansas and Oklahoma are encouraged to attend. Kansas and Oklahoma entered the Arkansas River Compact in 1965 to promote interstate comity, to equitably divide and promote the orderly development of the waters of the lower Arkansas River basin, to provide an agency for administering the waters of the basin, and to encourage an active pollution abatement program in each state.
