Kansas Association of Ethanol Processors, through the Renewable Fuels Association offers instructional materials to help students develop a solid foundational understating of renewable fuels. View these materials.
Kansas Corn Growers Association offers both curriculum training opportunities for elementary, middle and high school teachers. Programs and opportunities are also available for college students.
Kansas Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom is an excellent site for Kansas-based lesson plans and activities. Several of these plans incorporate state and national curriculum standards into the lessons. Topics areas are:

The Kansas Beef Council is pleased to offer highly qualified, peer-reviewed educational materials to Kansas teachers. These materials are made available by the beef checkoff, which is funded by Kansas cattlemen and cattle women to fund beef education, promotion and research programs. Midwest Dairy Association has developed a collection of informative classroom lessons and activities to educate students about how dairy gets from the Farm to Store and the Science of Milk. Find lesson plans, virtual farm tours, and activities such as Dairy Farm Bingo. You can also take a virtual dairy tour.
National Agriculture in the Classroom has a searchable database of lesson plans and activities about a variety of agricultural topics.
Nutrients for Life Foundation offers a wide variety of free educational resources about soil science and the scientific reason for fertilizer use. Visit the student section for agriculture-related games and activities. There is also a digital case study about water quality issues and the science behind algae bloom.
