The Kansas Department of Agriculture is seeking qualified applicants to serve on its Marketing Advisory Board.
The board provides guidance and input on KDA programs that support Kansas agriculture, including agricultural business development, international trade and market development, From the Land of Kansas, local food systems, agricultural workforce development and agricultural education initiatives.
Board members help shape programs and priorities that promote growth, innovation and awareness of the state’s largest industry — agriculture. Members serve four-year terms and meet quarterly.
Individuals interested in serving on the Marketing Advisory Board should submit a resume, statement of interest or cover letter, and tax clearance confirmation PDF by email to Suzanne Ryan-Numrich, Director of Agriculture Marketing, Advocacy and Outreach, at Suzanne.Numrich@ks.gov.

Applications are due August 1, 2026. The first board meeting of the new fiscal year is scheduled for Friday, September 18, at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson.
